China's alumina output up 8% YoY in Jan-Oct

In October 2025, China produced around 7.87 million tonnes of alumina, up 5.8% YoY, 3.8 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up 0.4% YoY, 1.68 million tonnes of aluminum alloy, up 17.2% YoY, and 5.69 million tonnes of aluminum products, down 3.2% YoY, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
For the first ten months, China's alumina output totaled 76.34 million tonnes, up 8.0% YoY. Primary aluminum production reached 37.75 million tonnes, up 2.0% YoY. Aluminum alloy output increased further by 15.7% YoY to 15.76 million tonnes, while aluminum products output inched down 0.4% YoY from a year ago to 55.24 million tonnes.
