Santian Carbon fires up furnaces for prebaked anode project

On October 16, Tiandong Baikuang Santian Carbon Co., Ltd. held a ceremony marking the ignition and preheating of roasting furnaces for its 600,000tpa prebaked anode project in Tiandong, Baise.
Jointly funded by Sunstone Development Co., Ltd. (66%) and Geely Baikuang Group Co., Ltd. (34%), the project is located in the Petrochemical Industrial Park of Pingma Town, covering 420 Mu (about 28 hectares) with a total floor area of 120,000 square meters. Construction began in December 2024, with full operation expected in March 2026. Once completed, it will become Sunstone's seventh prebaked anode production base in China, boosting the company's total annual prebaked anode capacity to over 4 million tonnes.
The project will supply high-end customized prebaked anode to Geely Baikuang and other primary aluminum producers in Southwest China, supporting green and innovative development in the region's aluminum industry.
