Hami Baixin Mining Co., Ltd. plans to build Sanchakou copper mining project in Hami, Xinjiang, accroding to the environmental impact assessment (EIA) released for public disclosure by the local environmental authority.
The newly proposed project covers a mining area of 1.98 square kilometers, with an annual production capacity of 450,000 tonnes of copper ore. The project will use underground mining methods, with planned excavation depths ranging from 930 meters to 400 meters above sea level.
