Guangxi will push ahead with its 2025 plan to phase out outdated industrial capacity as part of China's drive for industrial restructuring and upgrades. Local cities must set clear targets and timelines, with the region conducting inspections by year-end.
The plan covers major ferroalloy producers, including Qinzhou Dameng New Materials Co., Ltd., Qinzhou Yongsheng Manganese Industry Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. in Laibin, with a combined phase-out of 241,000 tonnes of ferroalloy capacity.
