First blast completed at Anhui Baomei's Huayuan Wujia dolomite mine

On September 14, Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. carried out the first blast at the No.1 mining site of its Huayuan Wujia Mine, marking the official start of pit construction.
Since breaking ground on May 28, the project has focused on building mine access roads. The successful first blast sets the stage for subsequent ore transport roads, additional pits, and the development of a green, smart mine. The project is scheduled for completion and acceptance by June 30, 2026.
The Huayuan Wujia dolomite mine is designed to produce 40 million tonnes a year and will supply raw materials for Baomei's 300,000tpa magnesium alloy project. Once completed, it will form a full supply chain from mining to alloy production, strengthening the company's growth.
