Jingxi bauxite exploration shows strong potential

The Xinjia Section sedimentary bauxite exploration in Xinwei Mining Area, Jingxi City, led by No.274 Geological Team of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has made new progress. In the 2025 follow-up phase, of 15 exploration works carried out, 14 found bauxite with thicknesses of 1-4 meters and good ore quality, showing stable and continuous deposits. The project, which completed its initial survey in 2022, has so far reported over 4 million tonnes of sedimentary bauxite resources.
