Shenghe Resources Q2 zircon sand sales up 18% YoY

In the first half of 2025, Shenghe Resources Holding Co., Ltd. produced about 15,918 tonnes of zircon sand, a slight increase of 0.2% YoY, while sales reached 14,728 tonnes, down by 7.7% YoY. In the second quarter, zircon sand output totaled 9,271 tonnes, down by 13% YoY, while sales rose 18% YoY to 8,756 tonnes, according to the company's semi-annual report.
The company's Fungoni project in Tanzania has produced nearly 20,000 tonnes of raw ore since starting operations in late 2024 and is on track to reach its 100,000tpa heavy minerals production capacity by this September. Construction of the Tajiri project is accelerating and is expected to be ready for commissioning by the end of this year, while preparatory work on the Madagascar mineral sands project is progressing steadily.
