Baowu Magnesium announces major leadership changes

Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. has announced several senior management changes. Chairman and founder Mr. Mei Xiaoming stepped down from all positions for personal reasons and will no longer hold any role in the company or its subsidiaries. Director and General Manager Mr. Wang Qiangmin resigned due to job transfer and will no longer hold any role in the company, while Director Ms. Wu Jianfei left the board but will remain in other roles within the company.
On August 11, Mr. Wen Faping was appointed as General Manager. The board also nominated Mr. Kong Xianghong, Mr. Shen Yan, and Mr. Lü Xiaoran as non-independent director candidates for shareholder approval.
In addition, the board approved a "1+X" business reform plan, which abolishes the Magnesium Materials Division and brings the magnesium materials business under direct headquarters management to strengthen the "one headquarters, multiple bases" strategy. The plan also reorganizes aluminum, magnesium, and template operations into specialized divisions.
