Qinghai Asia Pacific Light Alloy Technology Co., Ltd. has started trial production at its 100,000tpa green power high-end aluminum materials project in Minhe County Industrial Park, Haidong City.
With a total investment of RMB450 million (USD62.59 million) and covering an area of 7 hectares, the project broke ground in May 2024 and was completed in just 14 months. Once fully operational, it will be able to produce 100,000t of high-end aluminum bar annually, with over RMB2 billion (USD278 million) in output value, and help create more than 80 jobs. The project is expected to extend the aluminum industry chain inside the industrial park, and support large-scale applications of high-end aluminum and lightweight components in new energy vehicles, aerospace, and other sectors.
