On June 23, the Institute of Seawater Desalination and Multipurpose Utilization (ISDMU) and Hubei Zhongxin Liantou Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd. officially inaugurated their joint laboratory for salt lake magnesium resource development in Wuhan, marking a new phase of deeper cooperation between the two parties.
Aiming to advance China's industrial chain for magnesium extraction and deep processing from salt lakes, the joint laboratory will focus on R&D of key extraction and processing technologies, as well as technology commercialization and industrialization. Over the next 3-5 years, it seeks to deliver a series of key outcomes and become a leading platform for innovation, industry incubation, and high-quality development in the salt lake magnesium sector.
