Heqing Yixin commissions phase III of green aluminum project

On June 13, Yixin Aluminum's phase III green hydropower-aluminum integration project in Heqing passed final capacity replacement acceptance and officially began production, with electrolytic cells commissioned on the same evening.
The project adds 25 new 500kA electrolytic cells, amounting to primary aluminum production capacity of 35,000 tonnes per annum, bringing the company's total capacity to 450,000tpa.
As a major base for Yunnan's green aluminum industry, the Heqing Industrial Park now has primary aluminum production capacity of 768,000tpa and hosts a growing aluminum processing cluster. The new capacity will help further expand the park's downstream processing chain.
