Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.37 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of June, when the daily output was 2,037,000 tonnes, down by 6.4% from late May, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 15.79 million tonnes, an increase of 490,000 tonnes or 3.2% compared with late May.
