In the first half of 2025, the corridor has completed 34 vessel trips, with a total cargo volume of about 94,811 tonnes.
GEM's Indonesian plant is expected to produce up to 1 million tonnes of MHP (mixed hydroxide precipitate) each year. This nickel-rich intermediate material is shipped to China, where it is refined into high-purity nickel and cobalt sheet products used in batteries for electric vehicles.
