Yuntong Zinc smelter relocation project fully operational

On May 28, Yunnan Yuntong Zinc Co., Ltd. produced the first batch of zinc ingot from its 150,000tpa zinc smelter relocation project, marking the full commissioning of all production processes at the relocated facility.
The project is based in Anning Industrial Park, Kunming, Yunnan. It includes systems designed to produce 150,000 tonnes of zinc ingot and 240,000 tonnes of by-product industrial sulfuric acid annually, while also recovering valuable metals such as lead, copper, silver, indium, and cobalt.
