NFC Zinc begins trial production at leaching residue treatment project

Chifeng NFC Zinc Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), has completed the construction of a zinc smelting process optimization and leaching residue treatment project.
The entire process flow is now operational, enabling the comprehensive recovery of valuable metals such as silver, indium, lead, and zinc. The project is designed to treat 225,000 tonnes per annum of leaching residue generated from Chifeng NFC Zinc's hydrometallurgical zinc refining system.
