On May 23, Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp., Ltd. (JAC Group) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote innovation in the automotive industry and expand the use of magnesium alloys in vehicles.
Magnesium alloy is a key material for lightweight new energy vehicles. This partnership not only brings together the two companies' technical strengths, but also marks a new stage in the large-scale, systematic application of magnesium alloys in the auto sector.
Going forward, the two sides will establish a joint laboratory to strengthen collaboration across research, production, and application, jointly driving the industry toward lighter, low-carbon vehicle solutions.
