Yourshine launches aluminum and magnesium alloys die-castings project

On May 26, Jingjiang Yourshine Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. began construction on the second phase of its lightweight aluminum and magnesium alloys die-castings project in the Chengbei Park of Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
With a total planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan (209 million US dollars), the project will install 509 sets of equipment, including semi-solid injection molding and die-casting machines. It will feature China's first demonstration line for precision magnesium alloy die-casting, aiming to promote the use of lightweight materials in fields such as new energy vehicles and humanoid robots.
Once completed, the project will be able to produce 15,000 tonnes of magnesium alloy die-casting parts and 13,000 tonnes of aluminum alloy die-cast parts annually. It is expected to generate 1 billion yuan (139 million US dollars) in annual sales and 20 million yuan (2.78 million US dollars) in tax revenue.
