Guomeng Metal secures EIA approval to build recycled copper project in Jiangxi

Yingtan Guomeng Metal Co., Ltd. has received the environmental impact assessment (EIA) approval for its 100,000tpa recycled copper project from the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province.
According to the EIA, the project will mainly produce anode copper and low-oxygen copper rods, as the company seeks to extend the industrial chain and diversify product offerings.
The low-oxygen copper rods production line will use purchased mixed copper scrap as the raw material, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes. While the anode production line will mainly use purchased copper scrap as the raw material, with a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum.
