Auction results announced for bauxite mining and exploration rights in Qinyuan, Shanxi

Shanxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources has announced the results of the recent auction for bauxite mining and exploration rights in Qinyuan County.
The mining right for Xuanfengwo Block was awarded to Shanxi Yueyanchun Mineral Products Co., Ltd. for approximately 1.04 billion yuan (144 million US dollars), with a 20-year term of transfer.
The exploration right for Zhengyi Block was awarded to Yangpu Aofeiya International Trade Co., Ltd. for around 1.61 billion yuan (USD223 million US dollars), with a 5-year term of transfer .
The Xuanfengwo Block covers about 6.06 square kilometers and hold resources of 7.23 million tonnes of bauxite, 740,700 tonnes of hard clay, 211,300 tonnes of iron ore, and 412.37 tonnes of metallic gallium.
