Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output rises in late Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 22.74 million tonnes of finished steel products during the last ten-day period of April, when the daily output was 2,274,000 tonnes, up by 7.6% from mid-April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 15.29 million tonnes, a decrease of 1.42 million tonnes or 8.5% compared with ten days ago.
