Lizhong Group signs cooperation agreement with Beixin Coatings and HEBUT

On April 28, Lizhong Group hosted a signing ceremony at its research institute, formalizing a strategic partnership with Beixin Coatings Co., Ltd. and Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT). The three parties will collaborate to advance the localization of coating powder materials for aluminum alloy wheels and develop a complete powder coating system for magnesium alloy wheels. This partnership aims to overcome key technical barriers in coating technology, promoting independent, high-quality development of the lightweight automotive parts industry.
Lizhong Group plans to work with Hebei University of Technology, Beixin Coatings, and Tianjin Dongyi Magnesium Products Co., Ltd. to jointly develop end-to-end technology and processes for magnesium alloy wheels, covering the entire value chain, from raw material production and wheel manufacturing to final coating application.
Under the agreement, the three parties will establish a joint research center, hold regular technical exchange meetings and high-level forums, and pool resources to apply for national research projects. The goal is to accelerate the transformation of technological achievements. Lizhong Group will provide extensive testing scenarios and support for validating innovative results, while all three partners will collaborate to train high-level talent, including master's and doctoral students in engineering, to supply specialized expertise to the industry.
