Henan Rongwang to build recycled silicon metal project

Recently, Hebi Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment announced its intention to approve the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for a 100,000tpa recycled industrial silicon project proposed by Henan Rongwang New Materials Co., Ltd.
According to the EIA, the project includes the construction of ten production lines, each dedicated to producing recycled industrial silicon, for a total production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per annum.
The main production process involves sourcing raw materials such as solar panels, silicon sludge, and silicon powder, followed by crushing, drying, feeding, melting, casting, slag removal, and final crushing to produce recycled industrial silicon.
