Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output grows in mid-Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 21.13 million tonnes of finished steel products during the second ten-day period of April, when the daily output was 2,113,000 tonnes, up by 3.3% from early April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 16.71 million tonnes, an increase of 670,000 tonnes or 4.2% compared with ten days ago.
