Honglin Mining receives approval for copper-gold mining project

Sichuan Honglin Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shengda Resources, recently received an administrative license from the Water Resources Bureau of Muli Tibetan Autonomous County. The bureau has granted in-principle approval for the Technical Review Opinions on the Flood Management and River Stability Report for the Caiyuanzi Copper-Gold Mining and Processing Industrial Site in Muli County, Liangshan Prefecture. The license is valid for three years from the date of issuance.
To date, the industrial ore body of Honglin Mining has a total estimated resource (measured + indicated + inferred) of 6.06 million tonnes of ore. This includes 17,049 kilograms of gold at 2.82 g/t Au and 29,015 tonnes of copper at 0.48% Cu. The Caiyuanzi Copper-Gold Mine holds a valid mining license from November 25, 2019, to November 25, 2033. The licensed minerals include gold and copper, with a permitted production capacity of 396,000 tonnes per year over a mining area of 0.68 square kilometers.
Currently, the project is under construction and has not yet commenced production. All construction work is progressing in an orderly and steady manner, with trial production expected to begin between July and September 2025.
