CMOC sees higher Q1 production for copper, cobalt, niobium, and tungsten

In the first quarter of 2025, China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (CMOC) reported year-on-year increases in the production of copper, cobalt, niobium, and tungsten. Boosted by higher sales prices for all major products, the company's key operational metrics exceeded expectations, marking a strong start to the year.
From January to March, CMOC produced 170,574 tonnes of copper, up by 15.65% YoY, 30,414 tonnes of cobalt, up by 20.68% YoY, 2,616 tonnes of niobium, up by 4.39% YoY, 1,993 tonnes of tungsten, up by 3.75% YoY, 3,341 tonnes of molybdenum, down by 3.83% YoY, and 279,453 tonnes of phosphate fertilizer, up by 0.24% YoY.
