NEV aluminum alloy parts project to break ground in Xing County

On March 18, Xing County Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shanxi Province signed a cooperation agreement with Anhui Wenzhuo Auto Parts Co., Ltd. for a new energy vehicle aluminum alloy parts project with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million pieces.
With a total planned investment of 500 million yuan (USD68.88 million US dollars), the project will be implemented in three phases, focusing on the production of core components such as battery pack casings and electric drive system parts for new energy vehicles.
In recent years, Xing County has leveraged its rich aluminum and magnesium resources to actively promote a green transformation and sustainable development model. The county has been driving the full industrial chain development of aluminum, from bauxite mining and alumina refining to electrolytic aluminum production and deep processing. With these efforts, it is striving to build a 100-billion-yuan aluminum-magnesium industry cluster. This newly signed project represents a key strategic initiative for extending the aluminum-magnesium industry chain and enhancing the added value of its products.
