Meide Group kicks off construction of Linyi ductile iron pipe project

On March 12, Meide Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for its 500,000tpa ductile graphite cast pipes short-process intelligent manufacturing project in Lingang District, Linyi.
The project involves a total investment of 1.02 billion yuan (141 million US dollars) and, once completed, it will have the capacity to produce 500,000 tonnes of high-strength, high-plasticity, and corrosion-resistant ductile iron pipes and fittings. When fully operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 2.5 billion yuan (345 million US dollars), along with tax contributions of 150 million yuan (20.73 million US dollars).
