Qingzhen, a city in southwest China's Guizhou, is seeking investment for the Qingzhen primary aluminum phase II project, which is planned for construction in Wangzhuang Aluminum and Aluminum Processing Industrial Park and will include a 500,000tpa primary aluminum production line along with supporting facilities.
Qingzhen boasts abundant bauxite resources, with reserves reaching 390 million tonnes, accounting for 35.12% of Guizhou's total of 1 . 139 billion tonnes and 90 . 7% of Guiyang's 441 million tonnes . The ore has an aluminum-to-silicon ratio ranging from 4 to 10, with sulfur content between 0 . 1% and 1 . 5%.
The city has established a comprehensive aluminum industry chain, encompassing bauxite mining, alumina refining, primary aluminum production, aluminum alloy manufacturing, deep processing, and recycled aluminum production.
