Hebi Haimei Science and Technology Co., Ltd. has received approval to establish the Hebi Magnesium Alloy Lightweight Auto Parts Industry Research Institute, marking a significant step forward in the company's advancements in high-performance magnesium alloy technology and applications. This establishment of the research institute is set to boost the development of automotive lightweight industry in Hebi.
The institute will focus on optimizing material performance, innovating production processes, and developing new composite materials to enhance the strength, safety, and sustainability of automotive components. It aims to accelerate the adoption of magnesium alloys in key auto parts, particularly for new energy vehicle power systems and lightweight structural components, while promoting product customization and competitiveness.
Hebi Haimei specializes in lightweight magnesium alloy products and aspires to become a leading deep-processing hub for magnesium-based materials in China. Its industrial park houses 11 production workshops and 16 planned automated production lines, equipped with 200 die-casting and CNC machines. Its 1000-ton and 3000-ton intelligent die-casting production lines have been fully operational. The company offers integrated services from material R&D to precision casting and surface treatment, with an annual production capacity of one million precision die-cast parts.
