Based on an annual output of approximately 35,000t of tin in concentrate before the mining ban in Wa State came into effect, it is projected that tin production in Myanmar will reach at least 25,000t in 2025, more than 10,000t higher compared to the previous year. 

In 2024, China imported a total of 15,000 metal tons of tin concentrate from Wa State.
