Henan Dingxu kicks off construction of 60ktpa aluminum materials project

Henan Dingxu New Material Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Mianchi Tianrui Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Mianchi Dingda Refractory Materials Co., Ltd., recently broke ground on a 60,000tpa advanced aluminum materials project at Mianchi County Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone.
The project, with a total investment of RMB150 million (USD20.71 million), will build eight production lines for advanced aluminum materials and one homogenized refractory material production line, at Tianrui Aluminum's existing plant, which had an production capacity of 50,000tpa of primary aluminum.
The project will be developed in two phases. The first phase will build four advanced aluminum materials production lines, the construction of which is expected to take eight months, and is scheduled to become operational in October 2025.
Once commencing production, the project would achieve an annual output value of RMB160 million (USD22.09 million), along with tax contribution of RMB60 million (USD8.28 million), and is expected to create more than 120 jobs.
