Yunnan Chuangge puts 120ktpa aluminum bar production lines into operation

Yunnan Chuangge New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. recently commenced production and produced the first batch of aluminum bar.
Located in Yanshan, Yunnan, the company has put two aluminum bar production lines into operation, with a total designed production capacity of 120,000tpa. When fully operational, they are expected to achieve annual sales revenue of RMB2-2.2 billion (USD275-302 million) and help create around 200 local jobs.
Established in October 2021, the company is the first sino-foreign joint venture aluminum project in Yunnan. The project consists of two phases, with a total planned land area of 165,213 sq.m., and construction mainly includes casting plants, warehouses, and other associated facilities. Since construction began in May 2022, the project has progressed steadily, with the No. 1 and No. 2 furnaces preheated in November 2024, and started hot commissioning in early February 2025.
