Since its establishment in Hami, Xinjiang Jinsheng Magnesium Co., Ltd. has developed a magnesium alloy circular economy industrial park spanning 910Mu (60.67 hectares), where the company builds and operates projects including a 20,000tpa magnesium and magnesium alloy plant, a 300,000tpa semi-coke plant, a 50,000tpa ferrosilicon plant, a 6MW power generation project, and a 220kV substation.
This year, the company has been speeding up the construction of its Phase II 35,000tpa primary magnesium and alloy project, which will be equipped with the latest vertical magnesium metal reduction furnace. Once operational, the company will have a total production capacity of 50,000tpa of magnesium and its alloys and aims to develop a key magnesium industrial hub in China.
