Inner Mongolia Xingfa to build 100ktpa silicon metal project

Inner Mongolia Xingfa Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co.,Ltd., has received board approval to invest RMB1.5 billion (USD205 million) to build a 100,000tpa silicon metal project at Wuda Industrial Park in Wuhai Economic Development Zone, Inner Mongolia.
The project consists of two phases, each building three electric furnaces and associated facilities. Phase one is expected to complete construction and become operational in the first half of 2026, followed by the second phase in the second half of 2027. When fully operational, the project would achieve an annual sales revenue of around RMB1.44 billion (USD199 million), along with net profit of RMB90.32 million (USD12.37 million).
The company said the project will increase of the supply of raw material for organosilicone.
