Xinjiang Sixth Agricultural Division Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. produced 1,644,000 tonnes of primary aluminum in the first eleven months of 2024, up by 7.02% from the year ago period, along with power generation of 19.1 billion kWh and carbon products production of 754,000 tonnes, for a total production value of RMB36.86 billion (USD5.05 billion).
The company's 550,000tpa primary aluminum project uses SY600 electrolytic cells, which are expected to save 275 million kWh of power, reduce coal consumption of 82,500 tonnes and cut carbon emission of 181,000 tonnes annually. The project has entered the commissioning phase.
