Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output rebounds in mid-Dec

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.68 million tonnes of finished steel products during the second ten-day period of December 2024, when the daily output was 1,968,000 tonnes, up by 2.1% from early December, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 14.64 million tonnes, up by 460,000 tonnes or 3.2% from ten days ago.
