Qiangqiang Carbon breaks ground on 600ktpa prebaked anode project

Guangxi Qiangqiang Carbon Co., Ltd. started construction of a 600,000tpa prebaked anode project at Jinwo Industrial Park in Qinzhou on December 15.
With a total investment of around RMB1.99 billion (USD273 million), the project will build a full-process smart plant for prebaked anode, with a production capacity of 600,000tpa, and construction would take 1.5 years to complete.
When coming on stream, the plant is expected to generate an annual operating revenue of around RMB2.55 billion (USD350 million), along with tax contribution of RMB130 million (USD17.85 million), and would help create around 450 jobs.
