Shuangyuan Aluminium preheats electrolytic cells for phase two project

On November 2, Guizhou Liupanshui Shuangyuan Aluminium Co., Ltd. started the preheating process for electrolytic cells of its phase two aluminum project.
With a total investment of RMB3.21 billion (USD453 millioan), the second phase, which as launched in February 2023, covers an area of 724Mu (48 hectares) and uses 500KA electrolytic cells. The project received an additional primary aluminum production capacity quota of 100,000tpa, and when in full capacity, it is able to produce more than 200,000 tonnes of liquid aluminum a year, with an estimated annual operating revenue of RMB4.2 billion (USD592 million), along with tax revenue of over RMB300 million (USD42.31 million).
