Jingxi Electrochemical receives mining permit for manganese mine in Guangxi

Jingxi Xiangtan Electrochemical Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific Ltd., has been granted a 20-year mining permit for Aitun manganese mine by the Department of Natural Resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The mining licence, valid until 2044, allows the company to mine 99,000tpa of manganese ore at Aitun manganese ore deposit, using underground mining method.
As of October 15, 2022, the Mineral Resource Estimate for Aitun manganese mine totaled approximately 2.08 million tonnes of indicated and inferred manganese ore resources, including 185,600 tonnes of oxide resources at 23.41% Mn (136,400t indicated and 49,200t inferred), and 1.89 million tonnes of carbonate resources at 13.97% Mn (711,600t indicated and 1,179,100t inferred).
