Ruidong Mining to build antimony smelting project

Minfeng Ruidong mining Co., Ltd. plans to launch the first phase of a 30,000tpa antimony smelting project in Xinjiang, according to the EIA released by the environmental authority for public disclosure.
The project will be located at Kundong economic and technological development zone, using antimony ore as the raw material for a total smelting capacity of 30,000tpa, including 10,000tpa for the first phase. The project will use oxygen enriched side blown furnace for smelting and mainly produce antimony ingot subject to national standard.
According to the EIA, construction of the project mainly includes an oxygen enriched side blown furnace, with throughput of 53.69 tpd and 16,108.25 tpa of antimony concentrate, an oxygen generation plant, four reverberatory furnaces (22 (8*2.75)m2), and a set of smoke and dust collection device.
