China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.64 million tonnes in September 2024, up by 2.2% YoY, and the output for the first three quarters increased by 5.6% over the prior year period to 58.74 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to September, China produced 32.56 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 4.6% from the year-ago period, including 3.65 million tonnes in September, up by 1.2% YoY.
