Hunan Gold's H1 antimony products output up 5.95% YoY

Hunan Gold Corporation Limited produced a total of 15,147t of antimony products during the first half of 2024, up by 5.95% from the prior year period, including 3,644t of antimony ingot, 7,293t of antimony trioxide, 2,903t of contained antimony, 1,168t of ethylene glycol antimony and 139t of antimony trioxide masterbatch, according to the company's semi-annual report.
The company also reported H1 production of 490 reference tons of tungsten products, down by 21.3% YoY.
Own sourced production for H1 2024 included 8,173t of antimony products, down by 7.95% YoY, and 410 reference tons of tungsten concentrate, up by 67.18% YoY.
During the first half, the company achieved antimony products sales revenue of RMB1.13 billion (USD158 million), up by 29.15% YoY due to increases sales volume and prices. The company's H1 tungsten products sales revenue declined by 38.96% YoY to RMB60.35 million (USD8.47 million), mainly reflecting the decrease in sales volume.
The company also reported H1 production of 490 reference tons of tungsten products, down by 21.3% YoY.
