Guixi Qiansheng gets EIA approval for refined bismuth project

Guixi Qiansheng Chemical Co., Ltd. has received the initial EIA approval from the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province to build a 1,500tpa refined bismuth upgrade and expansion project.
According to the EIA, the company will build the expansion project at its existing plant in Guixi Economic Development Zone. The project will mainly adopt pyrometallurgy process to recycle bismuth metal, with an annual production capacity of 1,500t of refined bismuth, and the byproducts include 1,000tpa of lead ingot, 90tpa of tin ingot, 1.3tpa of crude silver and 13,000tpa of copper matte.
