Henan Shenhuo reports H1 aluminum production and sales results

In the first half of 2024, Henan Shenhuo Coal and Power Co., Ltd. produced 749,900t of primary aluminum, including 400,000t in Xinjiang plant and 349,900t in Yunnan plant, and sold 749,500t of primary aluminum, including 399,700t from Xinjiang plant and 349,800t from Yunnan plant, completing 49.99% and 49.97% of the annual guidance for production and sales respectively.
The company's H1 production of prebaked anode reached 229,700t, including 48,100t in Yongcheng and 181,600t in Xinjiang, completing 51.43% of the annual guidance. The H1 sales were 234,200t, including 45,100t from Yongcheng and 189,100t from Xinjiang, with 47.16% of the annual guidance completed.
During the first half, the company produced 41,500t of aluminum foil, including 27,500t in Shangqiu and 14,000t in Shanghai, and aluminum foil sales reached 41,300t, including 28,500t from Shangqiu and 12,800t from Shanghai, completing 42.56% and 42.36% of the annual guidance for production and sales respectively.
As of June 30, 2024, Henan Shenhuo had production capacities of 1.7 million tonnes per annum (tpa) of primary aluminum (800,000tpa in Xinjiang and 900,000tpa in Yunnan), and 400,000tpa of prebaked anode (with 400,000tpa under construction in Yunnan).
