CISA: Major steel mills' daily steel product output down 7.07% in early Aug

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 18.39 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of August, during which the daily output was 1,839,100 tonnes, down by 7.07% from late July, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 15.90 million tonnes, a decrease of 149,900 tonnes or 0.93% from late July.
