China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.61 million tonnes in June 2024, up by 7.5% year on year, and the production in the first half of the year increased by 7.1% from the prior year period to 39 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to June, China produced 21.55 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 6.9% from the year ago period, including 3.67 million tonnes in June, up by 6.2% YoY.
