The project, with a planned land area of around 2,000Mu (133 hectares), consists of three phases. Phase one of the project will produce 120,000tpa of titanium metal and 20,000tpa of high-purity vanadium . The second phase includes a 2 . 5WGH vanadium flow battery production line, a 120,000tpa titanium sheet production line and a 750,000tpa pig iron production line . The third phase will complete the construction of the remaining capacity for titanium refining, sheet rolling and vanadium battery packs.
Construction of the project is scheduled to start in August 2024, with commercial production expected to begin in December 2029. When fully operational, the project would achieve an annual sales revenue of RMB26 billion (USD3 . 58 billion) and tax revenue of RMB750 million (USD103 million), and it will help create nearly 1,000 jobs.
