Ganzhou Hanrui to upgrade electrowinning nickel and cobalt project

Ganzhou Hanrui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hanrui Cobalt, plans to add production capacities of 5,000tpa of electrowinning nickel and 5,000tpa of electrowinning cobalt, according to an environmental impact assessment (EIA) ready for review by the local approval authority.
In order to make its products more diversified, meet market demand, and increase sales-output ratio of nickel, Hanrui Cobalt decided to build a 5,000tpa electrowinning nickel production line at Ganzhou Hanrui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. In addition, its cobalt project, which came on stream last year, used cobalt chloride as the raw material to produce electrowinning cobalt product which is too thin to meet client requirements, so Hanrui Cobalt decided to build a 5,000tpa electrowinning cobalt production line using sulfate as the raw material.
