Masteel breaks ground on galvanized automotive sheet project

On May 31, Masteel began construction of a new galvanized production line and associated facilities, with a designed production capacity of 450,000 tonnes per annum of high-strength automotive sheets worth 2.7 billion yuan (373 million US dollars).
The project mainly includes a high-strength hot-dip galvanizing line, a 200,000tpa rewinding coil production line and a semi-automatic packaging line with a processing capacity of 600,000tpa.
The project is expected to further increase Masteel's production capacity of galvanized automotive sheet and expand application scenarios of coated wide steel plate.
