Liaoning Huagao New Materials Co., Ltd. has reached nearly full production capacity of 3,000tpa at the phase one of its 5,000tpa industrial-grade zirconium sponge project, with annual sales of 2,956 tonnes by the end of 2023.
Liaoning Huagao also announced a plan to upgrade equipment for the second phase of the project to add production capacity of 1,300tpa of nuclear-grade zirconium as the company seeks to tap into the nuclear powder industry.
